Coconut sugar is produced from the nectar of the flowers of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera). Its sap is cooked
until it crystallises giving rise to a sugar with a taste and colour similar to caramel, retaining many nutrients found
in the coconut palm, namely calcium and potassium. It is an alternative to conventional sugar, unprocessed,
unbleached and containing no preservatives.
Ingredients
Coconut sugar granules*. Organic ingredients.
Allergens
May contain traces of nuts, peanuts, oats (gluten free), sesame seeds and mustard.
Preservation
Preserve in dry cool environment, in the dark, no need of refrigeration.
Suggested use and preparation
As a substitute for white sugar. Use in drinks and desserts.
