Can diabetic patients consume Korean red ginseng?
Many diabetic patients consume Korean red ginseng to relieve fatigue and maintain general well-being. Although studies have shown that Korean red ginseng helps improve glycemic control in diabetic patients and reduces complications such as fatigue and numbness in the hands and feet caused by diabetes, it is still best to consult a doctor before consuming the product. Special attention should be paid to new consumers. You should start with a reduced dose (for example, half or one third of the normal dose) and lengthen the intervals between each dose (for example, once every 2-3 days) for the first month. Check your body's response before slowly increasing the recommended daily dose.
